The short version: PitHunt holds as little personal data as possible. There are no accounts, and we don't sell data. Here's the detail.
You browse and hunt without signing in. We process:
We aim to use only essential cookies needed to run the site. Where we use any non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics), we’ll ask for consent first, as required by UK PECR. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
PitHunt’s catalogue is product and price information gathered from publicly available retailer feeds — part names, prices, categories and links. This is business/product data, not personal data. Where a retailer or seller name appears, it identifies a business for comparison. If a listing contains information about you and you want it removed, contact us (below).
Where we process limited personal data (e.g. click logs), our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests — running an accurate comparison service and accounting to sponsors — balanced against your privacy. We don’t use this data to build profiles of you.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Email hello@pithunt.com and we’ll respond. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
If you run a listed store, see the retailer & rights-holder page to update or remove your listings.
